Simpson Growth Solutions, LLC — a Michigan limited liability company
What we collect
To provide coaching, we collect:
- Identity and contact information — name, email address, and date of birth.
- Health and fitness information — the health screening questionnaire, injury history, medications and supplements you disclose, bodyweight, measurements, training logs, and weekly check-in responses.
- Media you submit — exercise technique videos and, if you choose to provide them, progress photographs.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Why we collect it
Solely to design your programming, screen for conditions that would make training unsafe or that fall outside a personal trainer's scope of practice, review your technique, respond to your questions, and administer billing. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Your coach. Beyond that, information is shared only:
- With service providers we use to deliver coaching — cloud storage, form, and payment providers — and only as needed to operate the service.
- With your explicit consent.
- Where required by law, or where disclosure is necessary to respond to a medical emergency.
We will never use your name, image, photographs, video, or results in marketing without your separate written consent, which you may withdraw at any time going forward.
Where it lives
Coaching materials, check-in responses, and uploaded media are stored in third-party cloud services under access-restricted folders. Payment data is held by our payment processor under its own terms.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. Because materials are exchanged through third-party services, we cannot guarantee those services against breach.
Not a healthcare record
Simpson Growth Solutions is a fitness coaching business, not a healthcare provider, and is not a HIPAA covered entity. The health information you share is handled confidentially under this policy, but it is not a protected medical record and does not carry HIPAA protections.
How long we keep it
Signed agreements, health screening questionnaires, and waivers are retained for at least the applicable limitations period after coaching ends, as those documents may be needed to respond to a claim. Training logs and check-in responses are retained for the duration of coaching and a reasonable period afterward. You may request deletion of media you have submitted at any time.
Your choices
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Request correction of anything inaccurate.
- Request deletion, subject to the retention note above.
- Withdraw consent for any marketing use of your name, image, or results.
Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Coaching is offered to adults. Clients under 18 require a parent or legal guardian to sign on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, active clients will be notified by email.
